Second edition. With 168 illustrations, 51 in full colour. "This handsome volume presents the range of Hofmann's art in 168 vivid illustrations. Large plates, in black-and-white and in colour, reveal the exuberance and joyousness of the great colourist's paintings." In a beige cloth binding with black lettering to the spine and front board in an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Some minor shelfwear. Dustwrapper is generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. There are some chips and closed tears to the extremities. There are also some minor tape marks to the front and rear end-papers. There is an ink inscription to the recto of front free end-papers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some pencil underlining and highlighter marks. Very Good Indeed.
