Heaven by Randy Alcorn
I enjoyed this book and refer to it frequently. It has an immense amount of information about the subject, Heaven, and is well supported by biblical references. As important as this subject should be to Christians, seldom is it mentioned other than in passing. Yet it should be our great hope and encouragement. This book is written in layman's language and captures the reader's attention. It is difficult to put down. It is also a great reference work.

In his book, Randy Alcorn helps a Christian reflect on Biblical texts that detail Heaven. Scripture is used to paint the picture of Heaven and Scripture is used to base his conjectures.
I appreciated this and was glad to read a text on Heaven that wasn't soley based on a near death experience.
It's an easy book to read and I recommend reading it from front to back rather than choosing sections of personal interests.
