I am definitely an Andreas Polydorou fan. He is one of my favourite writers. His book Innocent Years brings back old memories and experiences. He describes things and events in such a concise manner that I feel I am there with him during his experiences. Aris his dog is for me one of the leading characters in the story. But above all is the immense love he has for his close family but also for all the people around him. The events he describes during the 50?s in Cyprus during the revolution are memorable. They are presented as a Historian would like them but also with a human touch. Andreas Polydorou is such a humane person
