APICS Essentials
This book is the primary reference for APICS "Basics of Supply Chain Management" and serves as the watershed reference for the remainder of the certification process. Some exam questions derive directly from "Introduction to Materials Management". Beyond the utility in certification preparation, this volume is an extremely readable concise treatment of manufacturing principles and practices. If you know "how" but have always been curious about "why", this book is a worth library addition.
