Trump Versus the Deep State
The central premise of Jerome Corsi's Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump (2018) is that Donald Trump is the target of a coup being undertaken by the Deep State (Obama and Clinton appointees and supporters working for the federal government), including the Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, and other government agencies that maintain a commitment to a globalist New World Order; this statist New World Order seeks to create a borderless and classless One World Government. Corsi traces the multiple attempts to undermine and discredit Trump and his America First agenda; Corsi spends considerable time analyzing the allegations of Russian collusion (that we now know is a hoax); he also looks at the role of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. The author concludes his book with how Trump can defeat the Deep State by stimulating the economy and issuing executive orders. After reading this book, it is safe to say that Barack Obama has weaponized the federal bureaucracies to target (alleged) enemies of the state. This weaponizing of the government is not unique to the federal level. Look at how the Attorney General of New York state has targeted the National Rifle Association and how the Circuit Attorney of St. Louis has targeted Mark McCloskey in his attempt to defend his home. Based on these patterns, one can conclude that the Deep State is real and freedom loving Americans need to stand up for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
