I read this book several years ago and I enjoyed it immensely. Kim Andrews is your typical teenager.However ,as with adolescence on a whole,she has reached a point in her life in which she wants to know more of who she is ,where she comes from and inevitably ,where she is headed. As the only biracial youth in her school,she feels inferior but it is this experience which makes her delve further towards her quest for an identity. At first,it is difficult ,especially when she meets her father's side of the family,but in the end she finally comes to accept and embrace her dual heritage.
