Seller's Description:
Near Fine. Uncorrected proof. Printed cream wrappers. Fine. Adventures of a seventeen year old gay male in search of finding himself and trying to create relationships with his brother and others.
Had not heard of this author but encountered a reference in another place and took a chance, only to be delighted by the excellent writing. Not at all a simple coming out/coming of age story, this is a psychologically sophisticated story with unexpected but very real and memorable moments of pain and disappointment, believably told by an adolescent. The evocation of southern Florida is, frankly, powerful and repellent.
