If you've read Pride and Prejudice, and enjoyed it, you'll probably like this. It tells the story of the servants who run the Bennett household, their trials and tribulations and the very hard work they do! I don't actually like Pride and Prejudice (sorry, yes I know it's a classic!) but my neighbour recommended this. I struggled through about half before giving up because I just couldn't get interested. Guess you need to be a Jane Austen fan, though this book is not of course written by her!

A well-received gift
I got this as a gift for my daughter, who is a Jane Austen fan, and particularly likes Pride and Prejudice. She said it was perfect. She couldn't put it down, and is planning on loaning it to me so I can read it too.
