This book illustrates the central decision problems managers face and provides the economic analysis needed to guide these decisions. The authors believe that an effective managerial economics book must go beyond the "nuts and bolts" of economic analysis to show how these economic analysis techniques are used by practicing managers.

Goodish introduction, but too easy on the maths
A rather good introduction to the basic principles of microeconomics, but not to be used as a stand-alone university textbook.
As the name suggests, it comes at the subject from a managerial, corporate point of view (as opposed to eg welfare economic analysis).
A bit wordy at times, and severly lacking in mathematical rigour, this makes a good high school textbook, and a good introductory text at university level. If, that is, one adds some extra material to give some of the necessary mathematical tools.
If looking for only one book for self-study, I'd go straight for a book like Varians Intermediate Microeconomics. This book is - sadly - too weak on game theory and maths to use as a stand-alone university text.
