The characters are incredibly real. Every reader will find at least one character in the book that they know from somewhere. The dialogue in the story is not flowery and polished, it's as real as it gets. You truly feel as if you and Lenny are sitting at the local cafe having coffee while he tells you his life story. As the tale unfolds the reader gets to know Lenny, understanding where he's coming from and why he's determined to carry out this course of action, all while wiping away the tears of laughter. The reader also discovers that Lenny is a genuinely good person with a heart of gold. If you are offended by rude language, crude jokes, transvestite hookers, strippers or offensive t shirts, don't traumatize yourself with Mr. Undesirable. However, if you're searching for a genuinely excellent book, Mr. Undesirable is a read you will return to over and over.
