Tabitha King has written several very fine books; my only quibble is that she doesn't write nearly as many books as I could wish.
One on One is the last in the Nodd's Ridge series, wherein the focus shifts from Pearl and Reuben to the younger generation. I didn't think anyone but Pearl and Reuben could hold my interest - this book proved me wrong.
It has a place in my top ten favourite books. A beautiful love story and a rattling good read.
