Anna Netrebko's has a rich, silvery voice, with killer looks to match. Her Russian roots and her "Cinderella" career beginning- that is, being discovered by Gergiev while mopping the floor for the Kirov- have helped to set her apart from other artists. While her career has skyrocketed, this is one of her first albums. This album is a collection of several well-known soprano arias, including "O Silver Moon." This may prove to be the best song of the album, with the great expressiveness, and her deep, rich sound. This is a fabulous work with many well-loved songs, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys opera.
