First edition. 258pp. Faint dampstain on bottom of spine, boards lightly bowed with minor edgewear, very good or better in a price-clipped and moderately worn good only dust jacket with a sunned spine, a few dampstains and several chips and tears that have been externally and internally tape repaired. Physiologist and psychiatrist W. Horsley Gantt's copy with his signature dated 1955, the year he founded the Pavlovian Society. Gantt, a one-time Nobel Prize nominee, studied under Pavlov and translated many of Pavlov's works including *Lectures on Conditioned Reflexes* and *Lectures on Conditioned Reflexes: Conditioned Reflexes and Psychiatry*.
