The presentation of each idea with the reinforcement by multiple approaches actually does provide a "painless" progression of understanding. A terrific complement to her Painless Algebra. I particularly recommend these books to adults who were subjected to less than capable teaching when in school, although it seems certain that current school students may avoid many years of ignorance and inability to move on to greater understanding of their world by using these books to gain a basis for moving forward.
