I bought 2 of her books over 25 yrs ago. I loved them. I learned a lot. It helps that I'm an artist already. But even for a newbie , this is great book. Show HOW to draw animals and what shape rocks to look for.
Anyway I lent these books to someone that didn't give them back.
So I'm ordering them again. I want to share with my grandkids and my adult mom friends. All ages can enjoy and learn from these books.

Pleased Painter
I have five of Lin Welford's books on painting rocks and love them all. Lin's talent and creativity shine through this book on painting rock animals. Her step by step directions are easy to follow and she also also reveals the detail work that makes each rock pet look quite realistic. I love her books and am very glad I purchased this one. Whether professional or amateur, this book will make you feel like an artist for sure.
