Twenty original patterns were resized to fit a standard 8-inch block for easier enlargements, reductions, and scanning. Some of the traditional patterns were updated into continuous-line designs for today's machine quilters. A few new blocks were designed to co-ordinate with the originals. Pepper was one of the first quilt designers to make the leap to plastic. What makes this book unique is Pepper s photo essay on how to use stencils.
