This book is a must for anyone with a Shopsmith MK V. Complete setup and maintainance instructions, plus all attachments are described how to use and maintain. I would recommend this to all owners.

Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone
This could be the very best book available for woodworkers of any ability. If I could have only one book on woodworking with stationary power tools, this book would be it. It is filled with pictures of operations and plans for helpful jigs for a wide variety of applications for the table saw, lathe, drill press (both horizontal and vertical) belt and disc sander, jointer, and more.
The book comes in three editions, the 1953, the 1955 which work with the Magna produced ShopSmith multi purpose machines, and a subsequent edition for the machines made by the ShopSmith Corporation.
I have copies of the 1953 and 1955 editions. For those who have the early model E or ER, the 1953 edition is essential, as it is based on that machine. Those who have the later Mark 5, the 1955 is essential, since it is dedicated to the Mark 5.
Owners of machines made by the ShopSmith Corporation will do well to have a copy of that edition.
An excellent book for all woodworkers, regardless of the machines they might have.
