An entertaining, well researched read. I was expecting drop dead humour as in "Pest Control" and discovered something else. This something else was a mature, more rounded style wiithout the side splitting guffaws of laughter. In the end I was disappointed as I had certain expectations that were not met; a slight letdown. It was however, when judged on its own merits, a very good read.

Fun, especially for rock fans
There's not much mystery but a great deal of fun in this book from an author who has an unusual approach to the genre. A great deal of rock and roll lore gets fitted into the story, and the bad guys are really vile.
