Excellent history of SCTV. Gone but not forgotten!
One of the great comedy series of the 1980s. Was always funnier than SNL. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable and Informitive
If you are a fan of SCTV you will not be disappointed with this book which gives a detailed history of the production from Dave Thomas' prospective, and commentary by cast and crew. Unlike many behind the scenes histories this book will not take the gloss off the show. While some of the material can be heard in the audio commentary on the DVDs, there is plenty of information that is new and worth reading. I have more respect for the cast now than I had before reading this book.
