It is a cliche, I suppose, but they there are no people like Burnham left, and there are no books written like this one. This is one of the most exciting books of adventure ever written, and it is all true. As Rider Haggard put it, Burnham is a greater hero than any of Haggard's fictional ones. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
