Secretariat's name embossed onto front board with a royal blue spine title. No names, tears or soil within the tight, crisp 192pp text. Original, price-clipped color photo illustrated dj shows negligible age-toning to cream background part of upper frt panel, 1/2" closed tear at head of same and color loss at lower tip of frt flap fold. Rear dj panel shows two small soil spots near head of gutter, jacket now in new mylar and displays very well. An excellent photographic history of the big red horse who was won on a coin toss that changed the fortunes of the Chenery (Tweedy) family of The Meadows farm of Virginia.
