Hannah decided to concentrate on herself and slims down, tones up and begins to concentrate on her career, all the time fighting insecurities she?s felt ever since her childhood because of her father?s alcoholism and her mother?s acceptance.
Leonie is a plus-sized beauty that wears too much makeup and has been divorced from her husband for ten years. She has three kids ? twin teenage daughters and an almost-grown son and they keep her plenty busy, but Leonie has always hoped that true love would find its way into her heart.
Despite the friend?s different stations in life, Cathy Kelly brings them together to celebrate their victories, drown their sorrows and stand behind each other when times get tough. I appreciated the author?s attention to detail without drowning the reader in insignificant details this was an enjoyable read and I will definitely be reading more of her books in the future.
