This is a very good book, but one that I had to read in small chunks at a time. It's all about death. Over and over again, the book describes Stalin's favorite method of correcting a problem: execution and he killed family, friends, enemies, and political competitors. No one was exempt. The book describes the 20th century's most wicked dictator, hands down. His death saved the world an apocalypse. The Russians and the world need time to heal from this monster's reign.

Lots of new information
An excellent biography of Stalin, with much new information previously not available before the fall of the Soviet Union.
