Unforgettable
I picked up my first Ace paperback of STRANGER THAN SCIENCE at the age of 13 back in 1962 - it read like a series of prose reworkings of scripts from the old ONE STEP BEYOND TV anthology.
The stories were all purportedly true, but whether or not this was just a sales pitch, the book remains a highly provocative, often harrowing compilation; devotees of the occult &/or the unexplained should find it well worth their while.
Arguably the best of the Frank Edwards "STRANGE" collections, it was followed by STRANGEST OF ALL, STRANGE PEOPLE & STRANGE WORLD.
