Heather Graham is an excellent writer and has creativiely combined once again the drama of the Civil War with romance. Once you start "Surrender" it is difficult to put the down book. The characters come to life and take you with them throughout the book. The plot is intertwined expertly and the flow of characters' interaction is smooth. I would highly recommend this book.
