Helpful Insight
I bought this book to garner a better understanding for what a friend is going through with "dementing illness." This book is well written and fills in the blanks about things to watch for whichcan be an indicator of progression into the next stage of the illness. Best of all it also covers the mental and physical wellbeing of the caregiver/spouse and how to help them deal with the slow loss of of their loved one. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a dear friend or relative with a dementing mental illness who wants to know what to expect and how to cope day to day with the person as their mind slowly fades away while the body stays healthy. Easy read for non-professional caregivers.
