I love making home made bread, from scratch. . .especially sour dough. . also recipes that I cannot find elsewhere, like sourdough english muffins. I don't use a bread machine and I like to knead by hand. . .it is therapy on all levels. The thing with this book is that you have the best recipes from the best bread bakers all combined in one book. I borrowed this book from a friend, and liked it so much that I decided that I had to have one to add to my collection of cookbook bibles, the best of the best. This book also gives references on where to find the proper tools for the trade, like french bread loaf pans and the what kind of metal is best for baking, etc. This book is a 5 star plus. It is for Artisans.
