In the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Herman Wouk's important novel set in the turbulent days of the Second World War, a novel which won Wouk the Pulitzer Prize in 1951. The novel was based on Wouk's personal experiences during the war, being aboard two destroyer-minesweepers in the Pacific Theatre during the war. The mutiny stated in the title is a legalistic one that takes places during the Typhoon Cobra in December 1944. 'The Caine Mutiny' spent a total of one-hundred and twenty-two weeks on the New York Times best seller list. Written by Herman Wouk, a historical fiction novelist best known for this novel and 'The Winds of War'. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dustwrapper.
