Acknowledging that there IS NO one perfect book for everything-But this book comes close. If I were allowed only 1 cartooning book in my library, THIS would be the book. This book illustrates things you WON'T find in many other cartooning books-i.e. drawing heads from more than just front and profile. It also illustrates useful poses, an extensive gag panel section, and sections on markets, and presenting your portfolio as well. This book shows some visual aspects of ordinary comic objects, which I found to be invaluable. this is one of the few books(4 to be exact) that I have 2 copies of-I have one copy in my field kit. I would pay double what I paid for this book-yeah, it's THAT good-that's MY humble opinion.
