This is one of the best cookbooks I have seen. I have had many, many cookbooks and found this by accident in a thrift store. This book is Classy in it's brightly firm hardcover. It is big (8.5x11) and 402 pages filled with glossy pages of recipes, tips, the basics, the art of cooking and so many wonderful recipes from basic to fancy. It is great for a beginner and the cook who thought they knew it all. I plan on keeping this one, but buying one for each of my daughters and families. It is a great gift for anyone. It is impossible to tell all that is in it, but if you had only one cookbook to own, this would be the one. Oh, and did I tell you that I really love it?!!

Great Cookbook
This is a well organized book with recipes that you would actually use, and would be able to create. There is vivid detail of illustrations that enhance your understanding of making the dishes. I made the German Chocolate cake and it was a hint for Christmas. My mom bought four books for family and friends after seeing my book. I highly recommend this book!

What a wonderful cookbook, old fashioned country cooking! I have never been dissatisfied with a "Taste of Home" Cookbook.
