This is an excellent retelling of the Gospel of Mark. It is reasonably fast-paced, very suspenseful, and holds the reader's attention well. I kept wanting ot know more! The author has treated Biblical material with great sensitivity, and there is little conjecture regarding factual characters. This novel is totally believable. Also, it has great potential for use by teachers and students.
