Seller's Description:
Good condition. It may show normal signs of use such as light writing highlighting or library markings but all pages are intact and the book is fully readable. A solid complete copy that's ready to enjoy.
One of my favorite things about Howe's writing, particularly present in this book, is to make the everyday and the ordinary magical. This does not mean "happy ending," however. Howe investigates the darker side of fairy tales and the mystical or confounding of the day to day. Her language is spare, but it shimmers.
