This book wasn't compelling; I really have a hard time with books in which a character has amnesia. The book was alright ? just nothing special.
On his way to find the murderer of his sister, lawman Flynn O'Rourke's boat capsizes in a storm and he is hit in the head. When found by Sweet Sylvie and her brother, Flynn is seriously ill and confused about his name and why he's there.
The story drags on as Flynn and Sylvie get to know each other and Flynn saves Sylvie from an assault. Everyone is waiting for Sylvie's father to return; he's overdue from San Francisco.
This is the least interesting book of the three I've read by Elizabeth Lane. It didn't hold my attention as the others did.
