Having met Admiral Husband Kimmel while I was still in high school, I vividly recall his anger at the treatment accorded him and others following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Dr. Victor's book dealt with the issue in a fair manner. It was an enjoyable read especially in light of recent incidents including 9/11. I would recommend the book to anyone who has an interest in that era in U.S. history. It is well worth the read.
