Kate Bridges does an awesome job in the writing of this book. The characters she portrays is a work of art. The way she describes their thoughts and feelings makes you feel like you are John Calloway and Sarah O'Neill. I couldn't put this book down. Until this book, I have never heard of Kate Bridges, but once I read this book, I looked for other books that she has written and plan on reading those as well. She is an author that I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel as if they are there themselves in the time and place that she describes in her books.
