I knew Iris Griffiths personally. She was a grand lady, very spunky for 106...I must say! She must have collected her data for this novel for years before finishing it in 1977. I have no doubt that Iris wrote with her ancestors beside her all the way. How proud they would be to know that a great granddaughter with pen in hand could write stories of coming to America, and let truths be known...I would highly recomend this little book if you can still find it...I think you would agree it would make a wonderful movie.
