This was the best Christian chick-lit I've read so far. It was laugh-out-loud funny, sweet and real. A divorced woman meets a male nurse when she faints in a Wal-Mart. They both have mothers with strong personalities. The first time they met their future in-laws was very funny. The issues with their mothers eventually results in a crisis.
Meanwhile, Rennie's co-worker tells her he is interested in her.
Trish Perry doesn't end the book where most do, at the unique marriage proposal, but lets you peek into their marriage and wrap up some outstanding issues.
