Enjoyed this book very much. Have always enjoyed Ms L'Engle's books and wish I had known her. She and her husband were both older when they married, and seemed content enough to go on being single if no one came along that they really loved. Fortunately for all concerned, they married, and lived a long interesting life with enjoyment on both parts. The book has a sad ending, because, real life is also sad. Their time together wasn't really long enough for either of them. They did, however, live many lifetimes in the time they had together. I would recommend this book with pleasure.
