Seller's Description:
Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
Ms. Kling has created a great character, Seychelle Sullivan, who is a lady tug boat Captain.
Seychelle somehow ends up "in the mix" in Ms. Kling's books, but as the strong character she is, manages to make it work.
Lots of things work. All at once.
This book is no exception. Her flowing style keeps you informed and on track as you read, which is no easy feat. The heroine character is interesting, a modern day strong woman with vulnerabilities she's not afraid to share.
Well most of the time.
All in all Ms. Klings books are awesome reads, and this one will not disappoint.
None have nor will. Enjoy this over the summer!

Suspenseful
The fourth book in this series. All of her books are written in the first person, but Kling manages to pull it off, and still give a full picture. The heroine, Seychelle Sullivan is smart, brave and likeable. In the unlikely profession of tugboat Captain, she stumbles upon many mysteries. In every book, someone close to her, dies. It makes for a suspenseful book, but it would be too much drama in real life. A good plot, and struggles with real-life issues. Her part-Samoan boyfriend, B.J. is even more likeable in this book, except for his pony-tail, vegetarianism, and 'save-the-mosquitoes' ideas. I can see why she likes him, anyway.
