You have to be careful when you buy this book that you're not getting the "Special Indian Edition" authorized for sale only in India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, et. al. It is not a bad intro to econometrics, but the problems have been rewritten and it is not compatible with the outrageously expensive book that you need to get for your Econometrics class. I kept the book because I'm cheap and my professor makes up his own assignments, but otherwise I felt as if I had been defrauded to some degree.

The bible of econometrics
This book is absolutely mandatory for an economics student. Every topic of econometrics is approached in a very simple manner, with lots of illustrative examples, so it is the best text book I have seen until today in this subject.
