This book tells Gideons story and his life at the Lycanthrope Court with the Queen Siena . He leaves his home to take his bride to a new place so that they can begin to repair what hundreds of years of fighting has wrought upon their two species. Gideon is the oldest of his kind and bears a heavy resposibility on his shoulders as they all struggle to learn to appreciate the strenghths of eachother and develop trust after centuries of war. Gideond wife is a perfectly writen character that stands alone and still enhances her husband and his views and values. The more I read of her books the faster I want her to wwrite.
