Easy read and understand. Best Linear Algebra text I've seen to date.
Perfect introduction as well as helping fill in the gaps that normally exist when learning LA (grad or undergrad).

Watch the lectures instead
I bought this book to accompany Strang's online lectures from the MIT open courseware series, which I am completing as an independent study. The lectures are great--Strang is engaging and easy to understand. The book--not so much. It doesn't explain concepts fully and jumps through examples without explaining the steps.
