Seller's Description:
As New. Beautiful Artwork, like new inside and out. New condition. Looks great, Very Collectable. Rare / Scarce Room Rack 5 / Shelf 2 PreSchool-K--Little Bird asks, ``What can I do today? '' bug says ``hop, '' frog says ``jump, '' etc. Finally, mother bird says ``fly, '' so he flies all around the farm. The writing is spare (usually four words per double-page spread), and the illustrations are done in broad strokes in bright pastels. They combine to form a fine book for toddlers. The animals are smiling, the sun is shining, all's right with the world. Whimsy and simplicity are the essence of this wonderful book. Pirotta and Butler have fashioned a childlike pastoral excursion in which the peppy protagonist questions a variety of creatures, "What can I do today? " Each respondent suggests characteristic activities (the duck proposes paddling; the cow, munching; etc. ) and the bird attempts to follow suit. The charm here lies primarily in the appropriately rudimentary illustrations--beginning with the appealing avian, a circular blue creature (always viewed in profile) with spindly black legs, a round, oversized eye, a wing outlined in white and a bright yellow beak. The other characters are equally amiable, and the sunny scenery looks as though it came from a school pageant. A perfectly perky performance. Ages 2-up. Rare / Scarce Room Rack 5 / Shelf 2 Multiple copies available this title. Quantity Available: 3. ISBN: 0153021039. ISBN/EAN: 9780153021039. Pictures of this item not already displayed here available upon request. Inventory No: 1560722035.
