I LOVE Z!!!
This is the third book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. J R Ward has definitely kicked it up a notch.
Zadist or Z is a very tormented soul with the voice of an angel. However, something about the female Bella causes his tender feelings to be awakened. When Bella is kidnapped by the race's enemies, Z does everything he can to find her and bring her back.
